and decided to make a sweetpea cushion for my very own sweetpea! Purple is TOTALLY her favourite colour. The capitals are totally her idea.
As for the pot holders - I have some great 1960s' curtain fabric - I love the Meakin-esque (is that even a word?) tableware design.
Sadly however the fabric is faded and worn - so I decided to photograph the bits I like, vamp up the colours a bit and then see what I could do with them - it seemed totally appropriate somehow to make a pair of pot holders!
